A familiar starting point

Keep the sheet. Enjoy the view.

  1. 01

    Connect with Google

Sign in to your Google account from PocketSheets. Google handles sign-in; your Google password is never shared with the app.

  2. 02

    Choose your spreadsheets

Use Google’s file picker to select one or several sheets. PocketSheets gets access to the files you choose.

  3. 03

    Browse and make changes

Read rows as a native list, open record details, and switch between tabs. With editing access, update fields and add, delete, or reorder rows in Google Sheets.

Your files, your choice

Access starts with you.

PocketSheets uses Google’s per-file permission to read the sheets you select and save cell edits and row changes when you have editing access. It does not ask to browse the contents of your entire Google Drive.

Saved sheet contents, preferences, and pending changes are stored on your device. Google access credentials are kept in the iOS Keychain. Spreadsheet data goes directly between your iPhone and Google, without a PocketSheets server in between.

Removing a sheet from the app or disconnecting clears its local data without deleting the original file. Editing or deleting a record changes the original spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
